The Director of Training is responsible for the vision, strategy, and design of our training programs across the entire business platform. They will lead the planning, prioritization, and creation of new training programs along with updating existing training content. This role requires advanced knowledge and experience building learning and development products from the ground up that can scale with our growth. They must also have experience as a facilitator of training. Our training products are our business, and the ideal candidate knows how to take a vision/strategy and build world-class content and curriculum from the ground up for a variety of modalities (on-demand, virtual, in-person, train-the-trainer). While they are a high-level strategic thinker, they are also comfortable rolling up their sleeves and executing the plan until they have a solid foundation to build a team that can provide leverage. This role will report directly to the VP of Operations.

Primary Responsibilities: Top 20%

  1. Create and execute the vision, strategy, and content assets for all virtual, on-demand, and in-person training products

Create world-class courses, virtual trainings, in-person trainings, and train-the-trainer programs

Facilitate workshops

Instructional Design

Certification and Implementation Partner Programs

Evaluate our current certification program, assess the gaps, re-design or enhance the program for 10X growth

Be the point person for all certification candidates and ensure they are successfully moving through the program with an 80% certification rate

Lead the 20% club to develop talent for Corporate Implementation Partners while also bringing leverage to the cert program

Lead the Corporate Implementation Partners to successfully deliver the results for our corporate clients

Drive Individual Membership Engagement and Retention

Manage our current LMS system

Evaluate our LMS/Content system to drive membership growth 10X

Build content for our individual members that drives value (purchase and retention)

Regular Work Activities: 80%

Facilitate training experiences and train-the-trainer programs, internally and externally

Build a bench for future Implementation partners

Support building our community platform internally (content and overall design)

Event Support - Virtual Goal Setting Retreat

Build and Scale our training programs for the individual and corporate business

Work collaboratively with operations, product, tech, and marketing to ensure the overall GPS is achieved

Collaborate with the internal product and client-facing teams to identify the most impactful training initiatives to empower our end-users in maximizing the value of our products

Experience and Qualifications:

Ability to work in a start-up culture and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done

In-depth experience training content design and development

Experience in adult learning material and learning principles

Excellent facilitation skills in training situations

Experience in sales or good understanding of sales skills

Experience working collaboratively with peers and support teams on multi-faceted projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
