THE ROLE:
When you were at High School, did you like learning science? How did you figure out things that you found difficult? Did you ever get to practice and have another go at the experiments you found inspiring? If you were the kind of student that had a curiosity about science, were asking why and had a passion to share your interests with others (maybe while conducting your own chemistry explorations in your kitchen), then this might be the post you’ve been looking for.
At Labster, we’re on a mission to make science education accessible to any student with an Internet connection and a laptop. Raising scientific interest and aspiration in high school students by creating highly engaging digital resources for STEM subjects is an important part of that mission.
Our goal to engage early stage high school students and educators in meaningful scientific learning experiences online means we’re ramping up our simulation production capacity at full speed. If you’re passionate about... High School Science, Ed Tech and looking to get hands on with virtual education design, this might be the perfect role for you!
As a key member of our High School mission, you’ll work alongside our Product Owners and Content Development squads to develop and define subject-specific learning progressions and educational content opportunities over four key science disciplines. You’ll also work with our newly established Curriculum team to contribute your educational vision and instructional design expertise to a globally aligned internal curriculum of scientific simulations and supplementary content.
At Labster, we focus on empowering all teams to execute and focus on the impact of their work. This means that we move fast and your contribution will be key in our effort to reach 100 million students across the globe.
