Our incredible growth has created an exciting opportunity for candidates with direct sales experience. We seek motivated and outgoing individuals that have an interest in both contributing to growing the company as well as their personal careers. The... position is part-time (25 to 30 hours per week) and the work location is a local home improvement store. The position pays $16 per hour plus an additional 1% commission on any jobs sold.

Essential functions

  • Work from home improvement store
  • Approach customer’s and gage interest in hurricane protection products
  • Interact with customer in a respectful manner that introduces and presents Storm Smart in a positive manner
  • Set appointments and schedule sales representatives to visit the customer’s home
  • Work with the sales team to ensure efficient and outstanding customer service
  • Knowledge of Storm Smart products, and interest in training and continuous learning to stay current

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient with computers/tablet
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Direct sales experience preferred
  • Technical proficiency or prior experience with hurricane/lifestyle products preferred
