Our client is seeking to add (2) Senior Commercial Liability Litigation Claims Examiners to their Ohio office. This person would be responsible for directly handling mid to complex, including litigated, Commercial Liability claims consisting of Slip and Falls, Premise Liability, Product Liability, and Bodily Injury losses throughout the United States. Responsibilities of this position include investigating and determining exposure, creating/managing action plans, and negotiating settlements. This person would have the ability to work remotely (3) days per week
- Possess strong litigation management skills to aggressively manage litigation activities, budgets and claim outcomes while considering the overall impact to the customer and company.
- Investigate allegations and determine facts based on evidence and interviews
- Calculate and assign timely/appropriate reserves to claims.
- Manage reserve adequacy throughout the life of the... claim.
Requirements:
- 5-10+ years of Commercial General Liability claims experience.
- Must have Insurance Carrier and/or TPA experience.
- Must hold an active adjuster’s license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees and handle litigations and negotiations.
- Bachelor's Degree strongly desired but not required.
Salary/Benefits:
- $75,000 to $90,000+ annual base salary
