We are looking for someone to provide legal counsel in support of wide assigned business areas and/or specialized legal areas of Western Union Brazil (mainly) and the South America region.

For such an important role, you... will be providing legal assistance to senior attorneys and counsels. You will do research and analyze the law on complex issues. As part of your responsibilities, you will negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. You will have the ability to handle multiple tasks and multiple business issues based on their stated priorities is critical for the position.

For this role, you will have 6+ years of legal experience working with international clients, corporate legal departments, or corporate legal environment, along with your experience within the financial sector and with local regulators.

We are looking for your ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, besides your capability of routinely working with highly confidential and sensitive information.

You will need to demonstrate experience with the review of complex legal documents and/or preparation of complex legal responses/documents at a professional level.

You will have strong organizational skills, with the ability to provide analytical and consultative direction. You must be fluent, and Spanish is highly desired. This role requires excellent written and verbal communications skills, and negotiation skills. The OAB certification is a must.
