THIS POSITION IS 100% REMOTE - PREFER CANDIDATES IN OR NEAR DALLAS, TX

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the IT functional contact/SME for the core HR/Payroll related systems for systems design, capability, and applicability to solve complex business problems.
  • Responsible for systems configuration, development, delivery and support for HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Talent Management according to company policy and IT Change Management process.
  • Responsible for issue resolution, including developing and recommending business process and technical solutions.
  • Assess business requirements and recommend technology solutions.
  • Resolve complex system issues escalated by Level 1 or Level 2 support teams.
  • Estimate work effort and create detailed implementation plans for small to medium projects... and enhancements.
  • Responsible for HR system configuration including module updates, business process/workflow setup and modification, security, etc.
  • Liaison between vendors and/or internal customers to identify requirements and make system changes to processes.
  • Develop and update system documentation for changes or new implementation.
  • Complete impact assessment of configuration changes and enhancements to affected systems.
  • Perform problem analysis, including problem re-creation, resulting in resolution.
  • Troubleshoot system and integration issues by identifying root cause and implements corrections to prevent recurrence.
  • Serve as the SME for HR reporting and data needs including designing HR dashboards and templates for use in business planning, analysis and forecasting.

BACKGROUND

  • Strong experience with HR/Payroll concepts, practices and procedures and systems with experience in one or more of the following Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Performance, Succession Planning
  • Experience with business process configuration and report writing including calculated fields
  • Experience in system SDLC including: requirements, analysis, design, testing, implementation, deployment and system upgrade.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system issues and provide solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting tool usage.
  • Ability to identify trends based on data analysis and the ability to develop solutions based on analysis to technology related issues.
  • Intermediate project management skills to include organizing and developing project schedules and tasks
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
