Overview:
Lifeway IT is looking for our next Remote Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team! This individual will work closely with our Digital Commerce and Content Delivery development teams to design digital experiences that are emotive, engaging, and frictionless and ultimately, empower our customers to grow their faith. This role will also work closely with marketing teams to help align on creative strategies.
The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UX/UI skills, and be able to translate high-level requirements into customer interaction flows and artifacts and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.

This role is remote in the... U.S with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings.
Responsibilities:
Work as a creative bridge between our technical and ministry areas aspiring to create customer delight when interacting with our various digital platforms
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Build design systems that aid in designing our digital products and services
Deliver both low and high-fidelity responsive designs, wireframing, design and hand-off to development
Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions
Consult and collaborate with marketing to create positive user interface/customer journeys by applying site architecture methodology to produce interactive elements maintaining brand integrity across site
Provide guidance, input or creation of project strategy and customer use cases to best support both the end user and ministry goals
Conduct user research, usability testing, and evaluate user feedback; Maintain a data and research driven understanding to iterate on designs and produce development-ready assets
Ensure that our web experience remains cutting edge and industry leading, all while maintaining a cohesive modern aesthetic and clean look/feel in all design elements
Update and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards as needed
Educate the product team on the validity of proposed designs
Qualifications:
Lives out , showing deep commitment to Kingdom work
Bachelor's Degree: Graphic design, HCI, visual design, interaction design, or related degree
5+ years front-end design applying Agile methodology with developers, product managers, and other designers for responsive/adaptive web applications
5+ years experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps for digital product discovery, purchasing, and engagement
Experience in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud or other relevant prototyping tools
Strong understanding of typography, information hierarchy, color, and how these affect user experiences
Experience with Jira and Confluence preferred
