Delaware.Job Summary :The Unified Communications (UC) Engineer assists in the assessment, planning, design, testing, and technical documentation for multiple UC services at the Federal Reserve. The UC engineer will join a team aiming to provide world-class meeting and videoconferencing solutions for the Federal Reserve. This role will be responsible for the support, and ongoing adoption and integration of new tools, features, and service updates to the UC services. The candidate will have experience supporting a Zoom or Zoom for Government environment for a mid-size to large organization, and in-depth domain knowledge in other video conferencing and telephony solutions, including Cisco Webex and Microsoft Teams. The candidate will also have experience working in an Agile environment, and experience in scripting and implementing automation to increase speed to market and lower human error. Responsibilities :Work with the Product Owner in the design, development, and testing of new unified communications systems, including web conferencing systems, voice and video endpoints, SaaS systems, and other solutions related to real-time communications.Work with managers and vendors to identify and evaluate new technology products for their services.Partner with users to elicit and translate our requirements into technological solutions.Plan, tests and helps deploy u upgrades to existing unified communications systems related to real-time communications.Provide agreement-based, scalable, and adaptable solutions.Develop and maintain policies, and guidelines to ensure that UC systems are consistent across the company.Review business requests for system enhancements and undertakes cost evaluation, standards reviews, and prioritization.Guide continuous improvement efforts for the service and system architecture.Work with information protection teams to evaluate the security of existing and new UC systems and devices.Establish relationships with partners to guide road maps from our existing platforms to integrate with latest technologies.Ensure department documentation, SOPs, knowledge base articles are managed and maintained.Qualifications :Education and Experience :Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience,with at least 3 of these years supporting large-scale unified communications environments.Certifications preferred (technical, project management).Knowledge and Skills :Demonstrated, thorough knowledge of the Zoom web conferencing service.Experience with multiple protocols including SIP, H323, WebRTC.Knowledge of UC systems including Cisco CUCM, and video collaboration tools (including Webex, Zoom and MS Teams) on both desktop and mobile devices.Experience with AV Technologies such as Crestron, Poly, Logitech and other AV products.Experience with the Agile project methodology.Experience with cloud computing providers such as AWS and Azure.Experience with Office 365, and specifically Outlook and Exchange Online.Establish, implement, and enforce appropriate technology standards to meet requirements.Exchange ideas and information with associates, management and vendors to accomplish work objectives and build agreement.Ability to communicate and build relationships outside of IT.Experience performing market and competitor analysis.Troubleshoot , root cause analysis and problem resolution skills Prioritize, escalate and communicate issues.Work independently with attention to detail and follow-up.Other Requirements :Occasional travel within the continental US.Will be asked to be in on-call rotation and offer weekend support .To view the full Job Description please click the link Below: https://www.philadelphiafed.org/-/media/ae36ebd915504732b0a93630d96bc3b2.ashxWe offer a great benefits package that features: Medical (4 options), Prescription, Dental (3 options), and Vision Insurance
