The Data Modeler will be responsible for developing data models across multiple platforms in the R1 application ecosystem. This person will capture requirements and develop data models. In this role, the... successful candidate will work with engineering and product management to create and maintain conformant data models across applications. The successful candidate must have demonstrated a mastery of data modeling and the ability to work independently with multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform development and maintenance work on data models in Snowflake
• Conduct analysis and capture data requirements from different teams
• Develop understanding of the products and business domain
• Support deployment and maintenance of data models in production environment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in data science, computer science, or related field of study
• 5 or more years of data modeling or related experience
• Strong communication skills including written and oral
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to express complex concepts in layman’s terms
• Ability to work independently

Desired Qualifications:

• Understanding of Machine Learning and predictive analytics
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
  Experience working in Looker, Snowflake, and SQL Server
