OUTSIDE SALES - EUROPEAN WINE CONSULTANTWe are looking to team up with a highly professional wine sales consultant to present our exclusive selection of international wines in Wisconsin.
You need to have ALL of the following:Wine knowledgePassion for wine, travel, and salesHighly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset100% commission based 1099 Position with high earning potential for sales rockstarsWe are an established (since 1979) wine importer that direct-markets exclusive boutique wines to consumers throughout the US.
We also offer a unique wine club.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop long-term client relationships that result in increased wine, tour and club membership salesWelcome and host potential and existing clients at consumer shows, events, tours and private wines tasting experiences in a positive and professional mannerProcess accurate sales orders and document communications, sales... goals and follow up utilizing CRM/ERPFollow the sales cycle through fulfillment and delivery to clients with appropriate communicationsMake outbound sales calls for wine, travel, and club using an existing database, referrals and warm leadsQualificationsMinimum of 1 year of sales experience in the wine industry preferred; hospitality or luxury retail industry also considered for individuals with strong wine knowledgeMust be comfortable selling wine and closing sales in persona and on telephoneProven track record of setting and exceeding sales goalsAbility to communicate clearly and confidently in front of a groupSelf-driven with the aptitude to work independently as well as a teamSales oriented with the ability to read an audience, tailor the experience to fit the client's expectation and close the saleProfessional appearance and enthusiastic personalityMust be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 40 pounds (at shows and events)Must have reliable transportationHome office with computer, smartphone, text/email connectivityProficient with computers, social media, CRM/ERP experience preferredMust be available to work flexible hours, including late afternoons, evenings and weekends50-75% travel throughout the year in your home state to participate in tastings, consumer shows and special eventsAbility to speak French, Italian, Polish, Czech and/or German preferred, but not requiredApplicants must be over 21 years old to be considered for this positionOur Company provides a pleasant environment with an open door policy.
