POSITION OVERVIEW: The Recruiting Director designs and manages the recruiting team supporting two critical infrastructure business units.. Managing a team of high performing recruiters, the Recruiting Director is responsible for ensuring the Company policies and procedures are followed throughout the recruiting process and the team delivers recruiting metrics in line with industry best practices and growth goals. It is critical that the Recruiting Director develops a strong partnership with the line leadership and is seen as a trusted advisor. This role also must effectively partner withinternal staff and key contacts to ensure the success of the recruitment program.

Our Recruiting Director will be accountable for driving market revenue by setting and enforcing clear metrics for team that align with market demands, developing a rapport with line leaders, hiring managers and program managers, and becoming a trusted advisor and partner in market growth. You will design and execute comprehensive sourcing and recruiting plans to ensure optimal identification and attraction of internal and external active and passive candidates, while managing the requisition load of eight recruiting professionals.

OUR CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES BUSINESS UNITS: The Mobility Solutions Business Unit and the Connected Communities Business Unit provides planning, design, program management, construction management, as well as transportation technology services and solutions to a wide range of infrastructure clients, mainly in North America. We're an industry leader in successfully delivering complex, challenging, and high-profile infrastructure projects across all project delivery models, including integrated delivery (public-private partnership, design-build, construction management at-risk) and Tolling, ITS, and Smart City solutions and services.

Our capabilities include Highway, bridge, tunnel, water/Wastewater, rail and airport design, inspection, and construction, Program/construction management (PM/CM), Environmental planning, studies, and permitting, Traffic engineering, modeling, and simulation, Transportation planning, urban planning, and complete streets, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) , Communications: Positive Train Control (PTC), Bus Radio, and Ultra band, Vehicle Inspection & Compliance, and Smart Cities with our proprietary iNET™ product.

  • PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in recruiting / talent acquisition including compliance and hiring regulations
  • Minimum of 10 years of managerial or supervisory experience with teams of at least 10 people
  • Experience recruiting in one or more of the business units service areas

  • Human resources background and knowledge of employment, compensation rules, and regulations
  • Proficient in cutting edge sourcing, networking, social media networking and use of AI technologies
  • Experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems software, Workday experience preferred

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

  • Familiarity with industry best practices and metrics

  • Collaborative team player able to develop consultative relationships with Hiring Managers and other stakeholders in the Recruitment process

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete recruiting assignments in a timely manner under general supervision
  • General knowledge of human resources, employment law and Company compensation guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP, Affirmative Action, EEOC and other compliance and legal regulations impacting a fair hiring practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and willingness to follow Company recruiting process and procedures
