The Communication Specialist is... responsible for executing Customer Care internal communication strategy and tactics, as well as manage content creation and distribution to support initiatives, projects and campaigns.
This position is part of Cepheid Global Customer Care and can be done remotely from anywhere in the United States.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead integrated communication efforts for global Customer Care organization
Work with internal partners as needed across functions (corporate communications, HR, global and regional operations, etc.) on communication initiatives, projects and programs
Assist with and contribute to critical events and campaigns, including department all-hands meetings, brand campaigns, culture activities, etc.
Develop strong relationship with regional teams and leverage those relationships to ensure communications are high impact, accurate, and relevant
Build compelling stories to enhance organization brand in an impactful manner
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deploy content, from internal newsletters and presentations to customer-facing infographics, collaterals, emails and creative media
Ensure a swift flow of content through marketing and regulatory review processes
Ensure marketing materials comply with Cepheid’s brand guidelines and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain Customer Care internal website and resources
Serve as a strong partner in the implementation of digital customer experience
Establish, track and measure communication effectiveness and audience engagement The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related work experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related work experience
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills
Advanced skills in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; experience in website design and multimedia production is a plus, not a requirement
Strong project management and organization skills with keen attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate in fast-paced team environments
High energy, proactive team player, and flexible to pivot with changes in priorities
Creative and super passionate about employee engagement and experience
Strong collaboration skills with cultural agility to work effectively with people from different countries and cultures
Ability to create and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Prior experience in healthcare/life sciences/service industry is a plus
