Full Stack DeveloperThis position is ideal for a junior to mid-level developer looking to gain a few years of valuable experience as a lead developer solving interesting problems in the transportation & logistics space, and taking an application to market.

The goal is to complement our existing part-time contractor with a complimentary skill set to help expedite and drive new features.

As the sole in-house developer, you will take ownership of the company’s technology stack.

Our primary project has been developed to support the company’s internal operations but we expect to spin-off a new company to commercialize the application and market to our industry.

You’ll work closely with our contracted developer and our founder on a daily basis.

You’ll have the opportunity to lead the work on critical features.

Once solved, you’ll be able to see your code live in production and being used to drive our operations.

You’ll also lead the effort to commercialize our application for use... within our industry.

We are looking for a generalist rather than a specialist.

This position is ideal for someone excited by the idea of working on various projects in development (front-end and back-end), website, UX/UI, database management, business intelligence, query design, web-scraping, and a variety of other responsibilities.

You should be comfortable researching and finding the best solution for the problems at hand, whether that be for front-end or back-end development.

Must be a good communicator and comfortable gathering requirements from internal end users, building, iterating, and maintaining full-stack web-based solutions.

Our current technology stack is based on React, NodeJS, MongoDB, python and Google Data Studio.

We expect to use React Native to build out an iOS and Android app from our existing code-base.

Ideally, the candidate will travel to our Warwick, NY office approximately 2 days per month.

However, a fully-remote position will be considered for very strong applicants if desired.

Our office is always available for staff to use as much as desired.
