Azure Dev Ops Software Engineer

One of our key offerings at Inventive is helping companies migrate to the cloud - this helps reduce cost and improve scalability for our clients, and every migration has a unique set of challenges. We are looking for someone with demonstrable skills primarily in Azure. As is true with any DevOps role, the actual skills cover a variety of technologies, and you might find yourself refactoring some code to take advantage of serverless architecture, or understanding the differences between a managed MS SQL Server vs SQL Azure, or making sure the routing and firewall rules are correct to ensure security.

The senior person filling this role will help us by working with clients to understand their requirements, doing all of those things and more, asking lots of questions, and fitting into our GSD culture.

Required skills:

• Azure - experience configuring systems, databases, and functions, routing
• CI/CD - experience with one or more CI/CD tools
• C# - Dot Net, or Dot Net Core
• SQL ... Writing and optimizing queries
• Scripting - it's old school, but we still need to deal with bash scripts from time to time
• Direct experience working with multiple clients
