Description
As the Training Manager at Citizens Bank, we lead, supervise and coach the training team in preparing Citizens’ Retail Banking Colleagues to perform their job and ensure an effective, efficient, and consistent learning experience.
You will assume leadership responsibility with stakeholders, business partners, and sponsors to achieve mutually beneficial objectives, for the achievement of the corporate goals. Furthermore, you will lead a cross functional team with the development and delivery of content to meet the needs of our learners and the business.
Primary responsibilities will include to:
- Lead and manage a cross functional team to develop and iterate blended virtual learning and some in-person trainings – while measuring a curriculum’s effectiveness, across dimensions of colleague satisfaction, colleague behavior and skill proficiency, and business results.
- Lead a team of facilitators to ensure the delivery of best in class blended virtual training and ensuring... a high focus on colleague development and engagement. This will include conducting observations with each facilitator and providing feedback and coaching for all.
- Partner with Market leadership to execute Learning and Development strategic priorities while communicating with market management on the engagement and performance of their colleagues in training.
- Maintain and manage the training facilities in their market.
- Facilitate training as required.
- Travel as required within the New England / Mid-West market – primarily NH, MA, NY and MI representing 30% of your time. Chosen candidate can have flexibility to work from home when not on travel.
Qualifications
Experience and Skills:
- 3 years of team leadership experience
- Experience with Adult Learning design and application
- 5 years delivering Training or Adult Learning Experiences both in an in-person class setting, as well as, in a virtual class
- Project management skills
- Proficiency level of Data and analytic skills with the ability to use excel or similar tool to measure and analyzes class and training program performance.
- High level of working knowledge of digital class facilitation technology like Webex Training
- Proven and demonstrated communication skills both verbal and written
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, Human Resources or equivalent preferred

Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday
