We’re looking for a Senior UX Designer / Researcher to join our Experience Design team as we refine existing and create new digital product solutions for our clients.
The perfect individual for this role is highly versatile & experienced in nature – they are able to lead UX research efforts and are just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves to design user flows, journeys & scenarios, and clickable prototypes as wireframes.
As a Senior UX Designer / Researcher at Emerge you will:
- Lead UX research efforts to both assess & formulate recommendations for improving user experiences, performance and/or interactions.
- Design and develop client-friendly... deliverables such as user journeys, scenarios, flows, sitemaps, low and medium level fidelity (prototyped) wireframes, interaction annotations and mappings, and information flow schematics.
- Create UX solutions for multiple concurrent client projects ranging from mobile applications to cloud platforms, CMS-based websites, custom business systems and tools, microsites, and more.
- Present and articulate UX research & solutions to a variety of client roles across a diverse range of industries — from marketing teams to product teams and c-level executives.
- Work closely with our producer team to meet critical deliverable milestones and key deadlines.
- Share your findings with the creative and technical directors and work with project teams to create unified solutions that best serve both the client’s business needs as well as their user’s needs.
- Be a team player. We collaborate and iterate together every step of the way and have no room for ego.
Skills:
- 5-10 years of agency or client-side UX research and design experience with similar responsibilities.
- Clear and articulate client presentation, communication, and writing skills.
- A portfolio that demonstrates your professional history and experience with leading research as well as designing user journeys, scenarios, flows, sitemaps, low and medium level fidelity prototyped wireframes, interaction annotations and mappings, and information flow schematics.
- An understanding of HTML5, iOS, Android platform limitations and opportunities is preferred (but you don’t need to be a developer).
- Candidates with advanced Axure RP or UXPin experience are preferred.
