The Role

With a large established base in New Zealand, a rapidly growing business in the United States, and Australia, the Regulatory Market analyst role will be a key role to help EROAD meet its ambitious strategic and commercial goals.

As a member of Global Market Development, you work remotely as part of a small but specialized multi-national team... operating across all EROAD markets, including the wider global stage. Coherence, trust, and integrity are the most important values of the team.

We work on behalf of our customers with policy makers, regulators, enforcement agencies and industry associations to develop intuitive, comprehensive solutions that are easy to use and lead to improved safety, productivity and environmental outcomes.

As the North American Regulatory Market Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying transportation trends and emerging markets in the US, which allow EROAD to improve and advance current offerings and grow stronger with new opportunities. This is achieved in part by analyzing existing and upcoming regulations, as well as identifying trends.

The outcomes to be delivered in this role include:

  • Identify and keep on top of emerging trends & opportunities
  • Analysis & communications
  • Detailed analysis on subjects of interest inc. compliance requirements, risk analysis, market commentary & research, competitor information etc.
  • Regulatory (technical and policy) analysis and knowledge library
  • Regulatory Opportunity Map for future EROAD advancement in the marketplace
  • Cross-functional collaboration with e.g. compliance and product team
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in an analyst or related position
  • Experience in analyzing regulatory & compliance frameworks
  • Experience in government frameworks and decision making
  • Ability to interpret documentation and conversations without dilution or misinterpretation
  • Ability to convey complex information to teams designing solutions
  • Ability to move smoothly between strategic thinking and detailed analysis
  • Progressive thinking and tech savvy
  • Experience in transportation and/or key sectors
  • Experience collaborating with internal teams to understand regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
  • Experience with business analysis techniques across a broad range of functions
