Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated B2B technology product marketing manager.

An excellent candidate will have experience building go-to-market strategies, crafting customer-centric messaging, launching products in support of company goals, and engaging with sales to build and convert pipeline.

In this role, you will gain expert-level understanding of our customers and the market.

You’ll have the ability to grasp the Movista Platform and understand its significance as an Enterprise Platform in the retail execution space.

You will possess the technical acumen to credibly articulate our capabilities to all audiences and the creativity to successfully communicate Movista’s vision.

You must be comfortable engaging at all levels including C-level.

You’ll be a strategic thinker, a naturally collaborative relationship builder who can manage complex processes across multiple departments.

Essential Functions:

Market intelligence — be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.

Understand the competitive landscape — be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.

Collaborate with product management and marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.

Serve as a subject matter expert concerning the intended use of all product features.

Help to assess the efficacy of product documentation and related assets such as customer training, sales enablement and product marketing content.

Work directly with Marketing to guide compelling positioning and messaging for personas and verticals.

Support the marketing team on messaging, content, and campaign strategy.

Product launch – have a significant role in new product and feature launches, ensuring that the company understands and can communicate the value of these products and features.

Work with product analysts to document baselines and monitor KPIs used in measuring product launch success against stated goals.

Develop a marketing plan for the product features you support in conjunction with our marketing team, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.

Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support your products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.

Be a fearless advocate for the voice of our customer.

Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.

Required Skills and Abilities:

5+ years of product marketing (or similar) experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role (e.g. delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research).

Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is –or isn’t—working.

Analytical approach to business problems.

Strong storytelling skills leveraging insights & data.

Ability to work independently but also able to call out blockers when necessary.

Interest in creative, out-of-the-box thinking.

Energized to collaborate and build trust with cross-functional teams like Product, Design and Engineering.

Excel at simplifying complex problems into actionable next steps.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Self starter who initiates projects, delivers high quality content, and works quickly and efficiently.

Curious, critical thinker who seeks to become an expert in whatever they do.

Strong interpersonal and project management skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack and Salesforce.

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, marketing, communications or related areas.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Occasional travel may be required
