This is a full-time remote position.

About the Opportunity

Development Guild executive search team is seeking an executive search professional who shares its commitment to quality, best practices and exceptional customer service. This position will be trained to successfully lead client searches and represent the firm. The Executive Search Consultant will be a key member of the firm's project teams, with the opportunity to have clear impact and rapid professional growth and have access to tools and resources developed to provide superior services to our clients. This position is ideal for candidates with 6+ years of experience in executive search or other aspects of recruiting/HR who are invested in long-term growth in the field. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, a genuine interest in the nonprofit sector, and intellectual curiosity. Key Responsibilities

  • Will be trained to lead and manage executive search project teams in recruiting candidates for nonprofit clients;
  • Provide day-to-day management of client projects;
  • Assist in guiding the client in developing the opportunity;
  • Draft and edit internal documents, agendas, spreadsheets and other materials (e.g. outreach materials, position announcements, candidate packets, etc.);
  • Conduct assessment interviews with the client to ensure the full understanding of the position and organizational culture;
  • Identify and initiate DEI strategies within client projects;
  • Assess candidate qualifications and rank candidate pools;
  • Interview candidates (live or video) and conduct phone screens to evaluate qualifications;
  • Review and analyze data; monitor contract progress and budgets;
  • Position has opportunity to perform candidate research (develop candidate pools via internet/database research) and candidate outreach (recruit potential candidates using phone, email, and other outreach techniques;
  • Follow executive search protocols and standards;
  • Build relationships with candidates and foster positive relationships with clients, and;
  • Demonstrate exemplary work ethic, character, and communication skills

Key Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 6+ years of executive search/recruitment experience;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the executive search cycle/processes;
  • Exceptional engagement and communications skills;
  • Ability to build and sustain professional networks;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, experience working closely with a diverse group of constituencies;
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient in MS Office, competence in Zoom and other online technology, picks up new programs and databases quickly;
  • An interest in developing expertise/professional growth, contributing to best practices;
  • Excellent writing skills;
  • Highly organized, an ability to manage multiple and demanding projects simultaneously and successfully, and;
  • Interest and ability to work with non profit organizations across sectors and a deep appreciation for the mission of our clients.

Nice-to-have Qualifications

  • An interest in business development;
