Red Bull Media House is hiring a software engineer that specializes in Android and Android TV app development.
You will be working alongside our in-house engineering team as part of our award-winning Digital Products team. This role will be primarily focused on our Red Bull TV and Red Bull AR apps. Red Bull TV is a free premium streaming TV service that provides live, linear, and on-demand films, tv shows, and events to millions of users worldwide across dozens of platforms.
The native apps for ServusTV, a premium broadcast network in the EU, are powered by the Red Bull TV platform as well.
Our award-winning native TV apps feature distinctive immersive media experiences that leverage the latest in augmented reality capabilities.
The Red Bull AR app hosts thematic augmented reality games with seasonal competitions and in-store experiences.
Must-Have:
3... years of experience with building native Android applications for mobile or TV
Experience in software technology related to native mobile applications design and development (Android, Java, Kotlin, React Native, etc)
Understanding of REST and web-based APIs
Experience using source control (Git, Github, BitBucket)
Beneficial Skills and Experience:
Strong, proven track record of developing premium consumer-facing applications
Experience with agile software development lifecycle (Kanban, Scrum)
Experience using build automation servers (Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis CI)
Experience using project management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Experience working with A/B testing and analytics platforms
Familiarity with frameworks for developing AR/VR/Immersive Experiences (AR Core, Unity, AR Foundation
