Senior Software Engineer - NodeJS, Core Services Platform

We're looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Precision Health Cloud team to enhance LifeOmic’s core services platform. At LifeOmic we have built a cutting-edge stack including NodeJS, GraphQL APIs, and serverless lambda functions that is continuously delivered on Amazon Web Services. In this role you will create shared backend platform services that power all of LifeOmic’s solutions. You will also have the opportunity to shape technological advancements for our development operations creating value for the entire development team.
As a core platform engineer you will be expected to work independently but will draw upon the experience of the entire LifeOmic development team. You will take on a broad range of responsibilities that include platform analytics, automation, architectural improvements, and product features. Simply stated, you will thrive with LifeOmic if you enjoy building highly reliable software that is consumed at a large scale. Desired Experience

• Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
• Data ingestion; AWS RDS / Aurora, document structure, and query languages
• Implementation experience with AWS Application Integration services
• DevOps pipeline automation with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, and Docker
• AWS Multi-region / multi-account continuous delivery

  Location
  This role can be based in Indianapolis, Raleigh-Durham or Salt Lake City. Relocation assistance can be provided based on qualifications. We are also open to remote for an exceptional candidate.
