The Talent Acquisition Consultant attracts top talent by sourcing candidates through a variety of platforms, and utilizes technology to create efficiencies to enhance the candidate experience. This role collaborates with Human Resource Business Partners and hiring managers to identify targets and departmental needs in order to recruit quality candidates.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute the full lifecycle recruitment process in a virtual environment.
  • Source candidates via a variety of platforms, i.e. social networking, employee referrals, and networking events, to proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for key positions.
  • Establish strong partnership with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP) to provide robust, collaborative HR support to business leaders.
  • Focus on candidate experience through providing a high-quality interview process with thorough communication and timely feedback.
  • Utilize existing talent acquisition (TA) technology and adopt new functionality that create efficiencies and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Keep current on TA trends and incorporate best practices into daily work.
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to identify targets and markets to proactively source passive candidates.
  • Consult with hiring authorities on changing market trends and department needs, as well as the recruitment lifecycle, so they understand their role and ownership in the process.
  • Maintain up to date staffing report, search progress, candidate database, and all related staffing communications.
  • Represent the university at conferences or career fairs to source and identify talent.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three years of full cycle recruiting/sourcing experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Previous experience working with an applicant tracking system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous corporate experience is desirable.
