Job Summary:The UX designer role will be responsible for developing information systems by designing... developing and installing software solutions. This individual will work with the Lead UX Designer to optimize products and services for business leader's and internal clients who rely on our proprietary Enterprise Software. Job success with be determined by demonstrating a combination of technical expertise through successful execution and adherence to industry and the SelectQuote Application Development team development standards.
The UX Designer role also requires excellent communication skills and team collaboration demonstrated by working in partnership with business line stakeholders and vendors while meeting objectives across senior-level assignments. The UX Designer will assist and support the Lead UX Designer based on best practices established in the industry and within the SelectQuote Application Development team.Essential Functions:+ Work with the Lead UX Designer to optimize products and services for business leaders and consumers who rely on our Usable and Accessible solutions+ Work closely with other members of the UX and Business Stakeholders to conceptualize, design and fully execute the products you are leading.
Create designs, concepts, layouts, interfaces and an overall creative strategy that reflects our creative expertise while meeting SQ's goals.+ Work closely with the Dev Team to create a visual experience that is consistent with, and structured ina way that allows for the most optimal experience, and continually improve the layout and style of the Enterprise Applications.+ Serve alongside all team members of the SQ App Dev Org, attending and participating in team meetings as needed.
Working closely with your fellow UX team to research and identify design best practices, stay current on design trends, and "thinking better".+ Providing excellent customer service to all SQ Stakeholders, both internal and external.+ Providing assistance on special projects, task, and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities+ Knowledge of digital industry and Enterprise Application Development is essential.+ Experience and proven success in the following skill sets and/or tools:+ Sketch/InVision+ Designing for implementation+ Passionate about User Experience (UX) Design with a desire to communicate the experience visually and interactively.+ Excellent communication skills with internal employees and external customers+ Highly organized and have the ability to work under pressure from deadlines+ Team-oriented and display a willingness to learn from others.
