Current Need
We are seeking a Senior UX Design Lead to join our team. This is a remote-based role, located in the U.S.
Position Summary
The role is responsible for working with appropriate cross-functional teams to support clinical, financial, and claims-based oncology data & analytics. The Sr UX Design Lead is responsible for the design and deployment of delightful and engaging tools for internal and external consumers of Analytics products. This individual would also create the UX strategy for Analytics dissemination across the US Oncology Network. In most cases, the Sr UX Design Lead directs and mentors the team on UX/UI implementations that fit within the appropriate user workflow, whether that be internally owned channels such as Tableau, or externally owned channels such as the Electronic Medical Record at a Network Practice. This individual will also project manage any requests which interface with customer-facing deliverables. Success in the role is defined by the quality... of the user experience including the impact, consistency, ease of use, project management and use of time/resources.
Key Responsibilities:
UX Design
- Collaborates with ends users and other stakeholders to define detailed requirements.
- Develops visualizations using frameworks such as Tableau, Python, & JavaScript.
- Develops and maintains Personas, Wireframes, and other UI/UX design documents.
- Collaborates with internal developers to design intuitive user interface solutions that meet user requirements for accessing and analyzing data via Tableau or other visualization tools.
- Proactively and independently learns and utilizes new technology, concepts, and procedures as appropriate to project requirements. Maintains current knowledge of industry technology trends.
Project Management
- Lead and mentor team members on UX and visualization topics.
- Capture, document, and communicate best practices with project team.
- Have strong command of how and why the data is collected in each of the various source systems.
- Gather requirements and design/deliver reporting and automation solutions to meet project requirements.
- Testing, reporting, and data governance support for team priority initiatives.
- Communicates accurate and timely project status, issues, risks, and scope changes to manager.
Data Automation & Analyses
- Provide ad-hoc support in the form of functional data research, report generation, and analytical support.
- Design for automated and reusable solutions leveraging McKesson's preferred tech stack.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive requirements documents and standard operating procedures.
- Additional responsibilities will include, but not limited to, assisting in effort estimation, status reporting, and capacity planning to refine estimation model.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a UX/UI implementation role.
- 2+ years of work experience in clinical data analysis and/or supporting healthcare information systems.
- 1+ years of work experience managing large cross-functional team projects.
Critical Skills
- Demonstrated experience building Personas and Wireframes.
- Experience working in an agile, virtual, team-based working environment.
- Experience with fast-paced, cross-functional, large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity.
- Proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic high-growth environment with aggressive timelines.
- Capable of expressing technical concepts in business terms.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with Agile development practices.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver on multiple parallel workstreams.
- Experience with working in Healthcare domain.
- Experience working within the oncology ecosystem preferred.
- Experience in visualizing pharmacy system data, clinical data, claims and/or EMR data preferred.
Education
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
