This role will work closely with the Associate Director, Digital Channel Web Lead and collaborate with
Marketing / Digital Engagement Teams to provide expertise on how to utilize the web channel to
provide the best customer/user experience. The organization will be looking for you provide web
capabilities subject matter expertise related to the end-to-end process for the creation through
deployment of websites, as well as the tools/technologies and best practices for this channel.
Key responsibilities of a Digital Channel Web SME include the following:
Engage with Digital Engagement team members (including CX/UX, Content Developers and Designers), marketing teams and brand teams during project concept phase to share best practices and web playbooks.
Maintain web digital channel standards and/or templates required by the business; provide training and education. Ensure all technical and business guidance documentation is accurate, current and compliant.
Assess and develop... new capability (channel functionality, marketing technology) requests introduced by stakeholders or as a result of identifying new industry trends/best practices
Work collaboratively across stakeholders in the business and IT to identify and implement areas for process improvement.
Define and coordinate technical execution for new capabilities with IT, Digital Publishing team members and other stakeholders.
Lead pilot initiatives to implement new capabilities and to operationalize them for scale in the organization across brands or channels.
Skills and Experience Needed:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience combined in marketing, agency, or marketing support
Subject matter expertise in the web channel; eCommerce experience is a plus
Experience in writing guidance, playbooks and technical documentation
Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and project management skills
Business Acumen, strategic thinking, problem solving and demonstrated understanding of end-to-end Digital Marketing Process.
Passion for working with technology products and solving customer needs.
Leadership and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders
Collaboration and influence - displays strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
MBA degree is preferred
