Job Details

We’re looking for an experienced Investment Product Consultant to join our growing wealth management organization! You’ll be responsible for strategically growing an investment organization including building and managing client investment portfolios, managing client expectations, and working with them to achieve their investment objectives. The work will be fast-paced and innovative and will require marshaling resources across the organization. You’ll interface frequently with our broader Wealth Management organization and help us implement best practices of portfolio management. You’ll use your critical thinking skills to help us highlight other areas of improvement while helping to strategically push our evolution as an investment organization.

The Impact:

As an Investment Product Consultant, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Work directly with advisors in the field to help build their wealth management business. This may include activities related to:
  • Portfolio Construction
  • Product Selection
  • Portfolio Analysis
  • General Consulting
  • Deliver sales assistance to advisors: competitive analysis, product selection, and key talking points for sales pitch to the client.
  • Provide advisors with guidance on how to structure their wealth management practice.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the different investment offerings available through MMLIS.
  • Interact with the broader investment organization designed around solving real client problems.
  • Contribute to the growth of the MassMutual Investment Management business

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or finance.
  • 7+ years of investment or portfolio management experience.
  • CFA or actively working towards becoming a CFA.
  • Strong background in quantitative analysis and portfolio optimization.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.

The Ideal Qualifications

  • NASAA Series 66 and Series 7 are helpful

Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000 ***Commensurate with experience
