Our client, an IT consulting firm, who is a Microsoft Gold Partner, has an immediate need for a Microsoft Infrastructure Architect, who will work as a Principal Consultant focused on infrastructure solutions. This position is fully remote, and can be based anywhere in the US.
A Principal Consultant is a proven technical leader who provides superior delivery services to customers, demonstrates technical mastery and a subject matter expertise in Infrastructure and Managed Services best practices and technologies. The role is accountable for reinforcing and continued development of the company mission of transformative disruption in both theory and practice.
Roles and Responsibilities
Client Excellence
- Lead the delivery of projects and solutions to completion in a team environment while demonstrating a consultative personality, leadership mindset, and collaborative communication style.
- Create customer branded solutions leveraging marketing assets that deliver an experience for end... customers.
- Assist in the development of Level of Efforts, Statements of Work, and create well-crafted documentation for assigned engagements
- Work effectively with peers and PMO to ensure a successful customer outcome’s
- Demonstrate excellent team and customer service skills.
- Ability to work with limited oversight with a self-starter expectation to complete work task(s)
Consulting & Technology
- Function as a technical influencer to support the company mission, vision, and overall strategy
- Show an understanding of Information Security best practices.
- Possess one or more advanced professional certifications related to chosen discipline (MCSE, MCITP, etc.).
- Possess a strong background in Enterprise-level architecture design and engineering of industry-standard (best-of-breed) core infrastructure technologies.
- Advanced experience working with complex infrastructure projects
- Detail oriented with the ability to analyze, explain, and document methodically
- Possess ability to be flexible with clients’ visions and directions without compromising quality
- Punctuality and Professionalism when engaging with current or future customers
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Leadership
- Mentor junior consultants and analysts
- Mentor and/or lead 1-2 teammates in the development of consultative and technical skills to maintain a customer delivery team.
Qualifications and Education
As a member of the Infrastructure team, the preliminary qualifications are attitude and aptitude. These are essential characteristics to begin the journey towards extraordinary outcomes. To complete the profile as a Sr. Consultant the following qualifications are required:
- Four-year degree (or work experience equivalent) and 10+ years of experience in a consulting environment with a proven advanced skill set and enterprise experience across various Microsoft and related technologies.
- Ability to understand the business needs and propose a technology solution that addresses the associated requirements.
- Proven ability to communicate at multiple levels of a mid-size to enterprise-level organization.
- Ability to work equally as effective independently or in a team environment.
- Assist the sales and consulting teams in driving new opportunities and educating clients on applicable technology solutions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
