WHAT YOU’LL... DO
- Build and deploy highly available services and system components that will stand up to rapid growth in the coming years
- Participate in the technical design and implementation of new features and system components
- Articulate capacity and monitoring plans for the services you work on
- Deliver maintainable, well-tested code
- Partner with, teach and learn from other engineers
- Drive scalability and performance within the system
REQUIREMENTS
- BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
- Main language: Golang
- Additional: Typescript / NodeJS, Python, Java
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- Google Cloud in general, Kubernetes Engine in details
- DevOps experience: building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Networking: Understanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)
- Operating Systems: Linux and Windows system (Linux mandatory)
- Data: A good understanding of SQL and its variants (e.g. BigQuery) is important
