Description
Our team, focused on Automation and Cloud Operations, consistently plays a vital role in delivery overall Cloud transformation to the entire enterprise. The group is charged with building and managing public cloud platforms on Azure and GCP, as well as the full developer toolchain including Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Jira, Github and more. The team is constantly improving their platforms... by updating and adding new services and partnering with EPAM to deliver value through cloud enablement and automation.
Our Senior Solution Architect embeds within the most critical and highly visible program teams across the enterprise to ensure applications are designed according to cloud standards, and to ensure that the group’s services align with future-state application requirements. Working in an agile team, you will leverage your cloud and DevOps technical skills to determine requirements, lead engineers who are automating infrastructure, and aligning our platform services roadmap with enterprise needs. You partner closely with other architects, security engineers, operations support and project leads to build enterprise grade solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Deliver quality work in an agile delivery model in a team environment
- Embed within project team(s), determining cloud requirements and steering application design
- Architect cloud solutions leveraging automated deployment with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Use automation to validate compliance with corporate policies and standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Support development programs to build cloud native applications
- Help to build cloud strategies and target reference architectures
- Communicate timelines, dependencies, constraints and progress quickly and effectively
REQUIREMENTS

- Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience
- 7+ years of technical experience in either development, operations, or full-stack implementations
- Expert in one of the public clouds, Azure or GCP
- Expert in developing infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, etc)
- Expert networking fundamentals including VNETs, subnetting, NSGs, routing, firewalls, DNS
- Expert in build automation tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, ADO, etc
- Experience interpreting and applying security best practices to create, harden and secure infrastructure and applications
- Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes, Helm
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
- Excellent analytics, problem solving and solutioning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
