Senior UI/UX Designer

Biproxi is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer who is passionate about creating world-class user experiences to join our team. You are a creative thinker with the ability to understand complex systems and turn them into intuitive software products for our customers. You have plenty of hands-on experience with Figma component systems, and a portfolio of professional design projects that includes web/mobile applications. You prioritize organization and understand the long-term implications of well-organized, well-documented design systems.

Biproxi is a well funded and fast-paced PropTech startup building software tools to bring Commercial Real Estate into the 21st century. Our small team consists of a mix of commercial real estate and technology veterans with deep knowledge of the industry’s problems and how to solve them.

What You'll Do

• Use Figma to develop software designs consistent with company vision
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using process flows and sitemaps
• Design UI components and maintain a large reusable component library
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how features function and look
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, images, etc.

What We Look For

• 3+ years of UI/UX Design experience
• High-level proficiency in using Figma, specifically developing large, shared component libraries with many component-level variants
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail
• Solid understanding of software product development lifecycles
• Ability to succeed in a fast paced, agile environment
• Previous startup experience preferred
