Title: Data Scientist

Location: 100% Remote (Anywhere in US)

Client Industry: Environmental Services/Analysis

Career Path: Team Lead or Software Architect or Principal Software Engineer role in rapidly growing company.

Design and Develop highly accurate models and quantitative methods to analyze and interpret the company’s data to solve problem of pollution - decarbonization.

• Clean, transform, and organize data for analysis and ensure its quality
• Interpret trends and patterns in data
• Work with key stakeholders and team members to gather and understand how data is used and identify best practices
• Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business... requirements, conduct complex data analysis and report on results
• Combine raw information from different sources and prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

2-5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist

Minimum a Master’s degree, Ph.D. Preferred

Expert in predictive modeling techniques

Ability to build models that can estimate carbon usage

Expert in various models, regressions

Ability to achieve higher levels of accuracy in statistical analysis and predictive modeling.

Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy)

Jupyter

Spark

Experience with AWS SageMaker strongly preferred
