Senior SEO Manager-Remote Opportunity

HLK is looking for an experienced Senior SEO Manager to join our expanding team. This position is responsible for managing search engine optimization (SEO) measurement, analysis and implementation across a range of clients and internal teams. This position will work closely with other teams across the agency to gather strategic and tactical input, understand objectives, and prepare appropriate solutions for internal clients. This individual may be based anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Manage the development and implementation of best SEO practices for HLK-led websites
• Perform keyword research using a variety of tools
• Discover, define and resolve outstanding SEO errors or issues in collaboration with department and cross-functional team members
• Perform, create and present client-facing website audits to evaluate search engine performance
• Provide strategic recommendations on potential SEO improvements to cross-functional team members
• Monitor website performance... using analytics programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data science or related field required
• Minimum of five years of experience in an SEO role, preferably in an agency or large organization
• Experience with a variety of analytics programs, such as Google Analytics (mobile and desktop), Adobe Analytics, SEMrush, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Keyword Finder and Screaming Frog
• Experience with Microsoft Office/Google products, such as spreadsheets, documents and presentation slides
• Strong ability to multitask projects on tight deadlines with a cross-functional team
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including a general understanding and knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other website features that impact technical SEO performance
• Strong, independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
• Strong, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
