VEED.IO is an online video editing platform that makes creative videos easy and accessible to all. Our platform is used by millions of creators around the world who use our products to telling stories, creating content, grow audiences and more (hey, you might even know some of them)
Since we started VEED in 2018, we have grown much faster than we could have ever imagined. We are now one of the most popular video editing applications in the world. As your userbase grows so does our talented team and we would love you to be part of that journey.
We are looking for a freelance marketing graphic designer (with the potential to go full-time after 1 month) to help us design graphics for our blog such as but not limited to:
- Thumbnail images
- Taking/Creating and styling screenshots for step-by-step tutorials
- Designing highly shareable infographics
- (Bonus but not required) able to create original GIFS and motion graphics

Pay & Freelance to Full-Time Status
We're offering up to a $ 200 day rate for freelancers. In the application questions please share your day and weekly rate.
Final applicants will all be provided with a simple skills test. This is to ensure both applicants and interviewer are able to comfortably make a confident and informed decision about working together based on your ability to adapt to our design style and timeliness of delivery.
If you are able to work well with us (see requirements) then by the one-month mark we'd like to bring you on full-time as we work towards publishing 5 posts per week. Please share your desired monthly salary also in the application questions.
- Skilled in using Figma and/or Adobe CC
- You have your own laptop or desktop to work from
- Able to speak, read, and write well in English (to be able to add grammatically correct text to designs such as subtitle text mock-ups)
- Great at collaborating with a team of people meaning you have great communication skills and wont take 3 days to respond to a Slack message
- You have a portfolio of impressive work and not just personal passion projects although we still love to see what you do on the side for fun design-wise
- You have strong creative problem solving skills because you recognize great design isn't just pretty visuals, it's knowing how to research to make something that makes people stop and look
- You're not a people pleaser who says yes to everything their client/employer asks when it comes to design edits. You know when to chime in with your informed opinion and will push back as needed.
- (A plus but not required) Able to design original GIFS and motion graphics
- Able to work well and quickly to churn out a least 1-2 sets of blog graphics per day
