Our client, a successful and rapidly growing financial services firm, has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Full-Stack .NET Developer to work on a six-month contract to hire a position supporting a client based in Alpharetta, GA. This engineer will develop bleeding edge C#/.Net Core web and desktop application software in an Azure & AWS cloud environment.

This client is privately held, has a start-up feel, a people-first culture, excellent management, exciting work, and many opportunities for advancement. The position is available for 100% remote or hybrid onsite/remote in Alpharetta, GA, if you like working onsite. The pay rate is in the $60/hour to $75/hour w-2 range with a perm conversation salary range of $120,000 to $135,000/year plus a 10% bonus. The compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities of the Full Stack .NET Developer:
Code and develop bleeding-edge web and desktop software and application interfaces using C#/.NET Core/ASP.Net Core and AWS in a Windows/Linux Environment.
Use Visual Studio Team Service to follow the SDLC team process when handling production issues and new projects.
Perform code reviews and peer reviews.
Streamline integration to existing systems and implement changes to existing systems to support business process changes.
Utilize both REST and SOAP APIs.
Development of modern .NET Core cloud-based applications (75%) and legacy development methods (25%) may include Windows Forms, ASP.NET WebForms, ASP.NET MVC.
Deliver quality, mission-critical, enterprise solutions
Use T-SQL language to query databases to research new and existing issues and aid in implementing projects as needed.
Use of AWS components to implement Cloud-based solutions.
Perform Unit and Integration testing.
Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for all new development projects.

Requirements for the Senior Full Stack .NET Developer:
Senior .NET Developer with 5 - 10 + years of professional IT experience. Skilled in C#, .NET Core, and NET Framework
ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET (web forms, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, REST, SOAP), JavaScript, SQL Server/T-SQL, ADO.NET, Linq, SQL
Comfortable working with Agile, Design Patterns, Visual Studio, IIS, source control, build tools, continuous integration servers, and test harnesses typically found in a .NET development environment.

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with AWS components (S3, EC2, RDS, CloudFront, ELB, Athena, Sagemaker, SQS, a plus) or Azure
Content Management experience with WordPress
LAMP stack skills (Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP)
