This position is remote/work from home. You need to reside within the Central or Eastern Time Zones and able to work overlapping times with the teams in Burlington, VT.
The Cox Automotive Principal SEO Product Manager will report to the Sr. Manager of SEO and is responsible for providing consultation and expert advice to teams both within Cox Automotive (Primarily Dealer.com etc.) and to some extent on the client/partner side regarding organic search (SEO). This role is involved in discussions, recommendations and decisions regarding short and long-term business objectives that can affect Coxs online marketing strategies and the intersection with offline marketing strategies.
This position exercises discretion and independent judgement with respect... to recommendations and action plans that demonstrate support for successful working relationships, the fulfillment of contractual agreements, and the timely and thorough handling of complaints and escalated issues. This role performs much of their work on cross-brand accounts or segments of our base that have been identified as key accounts, though support of non-key/non-VIP accounts is expected during peak times in conjunction with the rest of the SEO team.
Will execute end-to-end organic search plans on assigned accounts and/or coordinates with their Sr. Manager of SEO the delegation to other team members; identifies opportunities to maximize return on investment (ROI) for multiple brands which are in line with established key performance indicators and global metrics; is a primary resource for others requiring basic to advanced level knowledge of SEO services and features, and will have frequent interactions with other departments within Cox Automotive.
In addition to the above, this role is expected to serve as a mentor to other analysts and members of other departments (as appropriate) using influence and informal leadership. This position has a high degree of knowledge related to the SEO teams use of Cox Automotive systems and tools and takes the initiative to assess the impact of new products, search engine algorithm changes and subsequent releases on SEO best practices and procedures.
This position is the primary back-up in planned or unplanned absences of the Sr. Manager of SEO and potentially other analysts depending on the priority of work to be performed and extent of absence. This position should display the utmost quality, confidence, and effectiveness when handling difficult situations, by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a high degree of professional integrity within all departments and levels of the organization.
