Southern New Hampshire University is seeking an Associate SEO Research Analyst to join our Marketing team. The Associate SEO Research Analyst will support all efforts related to organic growth.

The Associate SEO Research Analyst will be involved in keyword research, competitive analyses and market research projects, online brand/reputation management, weekly/monthly reporting and work with team members across marketing to provide insights and support.

Our ideal candidate will be proactive, research-driven and approach the work with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Key attention to detail is required, as well as solid web foundation acumen.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review, analyze and report on SEO and content performance using common industry tools and reporting platforms such as Brightedge, MOZ, Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis projects using the aforementioned tools
  • Regularly monitor brand- and reputation-related search queries and work to maintain fair, accurate information on external websites
  • Assist with link-building efforts
  • Work to understand key audiences and ensure content is relevant and up-to-date
  • Work closely with Conversion-Rate Optimization (CRO) and Web Operations/CMS teams to make improvements to the SNHU website as needed
  • Proactively identify web content opportunities related to search engine and conversion rate optimization
  • Work within the marketing team to build relationships required to develop impactful insights
  • Keep up with SEO and content marketing best practices, adjust reporting and tactics as needed
  • Assist with other Web/marketing projects and responsibilities as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-year college degree
  • 1-2 years of professional experience working in a research capacity
  • Candidates should possess a strong desire to learn and grow in a very fast-paced, agile, and data-driven environment, and excel both independently and as a member of a growing team
  • Able to gather, organize and disseminate research into digestible and presentable data using Excel, Google Slides and Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable in SEO fundamentals and best practices
  • Experience in Web marketing
  • Certified and/or proficient in Google Search Console, Google Analytics and similar Web research tools
