Director of DevOps

Our client was founded as a business expansion of a fleet of industry specific software platforms. They place a focus on specific problem areas within each business sector for their clients. With cutting edge technology, they can bring your business directly to peoples phone, tablet, and computer screens. They have been growing rapidly doubling their engineering staff over the last 6 months, and they are looking to build out their internal DevOps and Infrastructure group. They are looking to bring in a Director of Tech Ops to oversee their DevOps/Platform Infrastructure groups as well as oversee Security and Corporate IT down the line.

Ideal candidate will be hands-on experienced in AWS Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD design and architecture, as well as modern automation tooling such as Terraform, Ansible, or Saltstack. Role will be fairly hands-on to start, but become less so as the team is scaled out over the next year.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ Years Experience
• AWS (Fully... Versed)
• Terraform, Ansible, or Saltstack
• CI/CD (Circle, Github, Jenkins, etc.)
• Scripting (Python, Bash)
• Docker

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
• ECS or EKS++ but not required
• 70/80% Hands On to Start
• 50% Hands On Down the Line
