Web Designer X2

Our client, a growing fitness brand is looking for a Web Designer. This is a remote freelance opportunity (40 hours a week) with potential to go fulltime for the right candidate. LA or Orange County based candidates highly preferred but open to location for the right person (must work PST hours if located in another time zone).

You will be supporting marketing campaigns, mostly web landing pages.as well as marketing materials for events.

Principle Accountabilities (35%) Design assets that adhere to our brand guidelines and maintain a high level of creative standards. Collaborate with the Digital team to develop, maintain, and iterate on templates that optimize for efficiency while also still allowing for thoughtful, innovative creativity. (40%) Update assets when new copy and/or imagery are needed for online materials. (5%) Identify opportunities for increased efficiency and drive these initiatives forward—always advocating for new ways of doing things if they will produce a better... result. (5%) Assist creative teams with comps, and sometimes design if needed. (15%) Work closely with project managers to ensure client handoffs and saving on the server.

Required Experience

• BA in Graphic, Web Design or equivalent
• 3-5 years production artist experience
• Familiarity with CMS editing platforms, Prismic preferred, Shopify is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of Figma or comparable.
• Adobe CC programs, especially Illustrator, Photoshop Understanding of modern CSS concepts and capabilities
• Hands on experience with Agile software development methodology and processes
• Ability to juggle many projects at once, while maintaining quality control

Required Skills

• A good eye for design and solid technical skills, with acute attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Must be open to feedback and comfortable with making multiple rounds of changes Self-starter who can troubleshoot and work independently.
• Driven to excel and succeed, even in a remote environment
