Staff Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Hotel Engine is eager to add a Staff Software Engineer, Ruby on Rails to our growing engineering organization! In this role, you'll... be making architectural decisions, developing and maintaining an internal set of systems and tools, mentoring and shaping other engineers, and building out integrations with third parties. Here's what we're looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Extensive knowledge using MySQL, Postgres, or other RDBMS at scale
• Working knowledge of modern control systems (Git/Github)
• Deep expertise of object-oriented software design, development, and architectural principles

Cash compensation:

• The base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000/year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.

• This role is eligible for remote work. Hotel Engine is authorized to do business in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, NC, NY, TN, and TX.
