Job DescriptionGrowing government contractor is looking to hire a DevOps Engineer. The position allows for 100% telecommute. Qualified candidates will still need to live in the MD/VA/DC area. Qualified candidates also need to have a TS/SCI clearance. Roles and Responsibilities: Document and maintain design and technical specifications for implementation of DevOps solutions. Define and maintain taxonomy term stores. Support Git, JIRA, Confluence and Azure DevOps development resources. Establish and maintain AWS accounts and server instances. Build and deploy Docker Swarm and Kubernetes Clusters. Draft and maintain installation scripts. Draft and maintain system documentation. Research, evaluate and implement tool and technology solutions to meet project requirements. Travel to local and remote customer sites as assigned. Work in a SCIF as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Active TS/SCI security clearance. Ability to work in a SCIF from part to full... time. 3+ years’ experience working with large and complex IT systems. Experience deploying to classified networks. Experience supporting Git, Confluence and Azure DevOps development resources. Experience establishing and maintaining AWS accounts and server instances. Experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, VPC, ECS/EKS, ECR and EMR. Experience building and deploying Docker Swarm or Kubernetes or equivalent container technologies. Experience drafting and maintaining installation scripts and system documentation. Experience working in a collaborative agile team environment. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to participate in infrequent travel. Desired Qualifications: DoD/military or intelligence community (IC) experience is a plus. DoD/IC PKI system experience a plus.
