Azure Senior Site Reliability Engineer/ Architect

An information and analytics company that is also one of the world's largest providers of medical, scientific, and technical information. Currently looking to add multiple Site Reliability Engineers to add to their teams as they are undergoing a large migrations from AWS to Azure Cloud. These positions will be apart of the Cloud Center of Excellence that is responsible for owning architecture and execution in partnership with the business units for our business migration.

This position requires collaboration across multiple teams like QA, IT Operations, Development, and Customer Operations so good communication and problem solving skills are essential. Core Devops practices and methodologies are also desired as agile support and deployment processes are integrated in the role. Candidates must also be comfortable working in both a Windows and Linux environment. Good work environment and stability is something that can be expected from this company as they have been around for over 50... years.

Role is 100% remote and a long term contract.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years working with Azure Cloud
• Experience in both a Windows and Linux Environment
• Configuration Management - Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
• CI/Delivery Tools -Jenkins or Gitlab
• Containerization using Docker
• Use of log Management tools
• Monitoring
• Experience migrating from on-prem to cloud

Desired Skills

• Azure or AWS certs
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree
• Orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Cloudformation
