The primary purpose of this job is to support mortgage fraud related activity and mortgage fraud technology implementations in order to drive mitigation strategies through innovation. This position will assist in coordinating mortgage fraud projects that will lead to fraud detection and prevention. The primary responsibility will include... performing detailed requirements analysis, defining and documenting processes, coordinating and performing user acceptance testing, monitoring and supporting existing fraud tools and technologies, and driving system and process improvement initiatives to enhance system effectiveness.The compensation for this role is $61,700-$116,752This role is eligible for a Scorecard bonus

Responsibilities:

This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties and the position will perform other duties as assigned.Support planning and coordinating of mortgage fraud related projects in support of risk mitigation and business operations.Identify and assign project tasksMonitor progress and deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects.Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.Manage competing resources and priorities.Support communications with other business teams to ensure consistent and accurate reporting while minimizing redundancy.Evaluate business processes, analyze and anticipate business requirements, help develop and implement solutions.Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders.Identify and prioritize requirements, drive decisions with key stakeholders.Update, implement and maintain procedures related to fraud.Conduct meetings and presentations for mortgage fraud activityEffectively communicate insights and plans to vendors, cross-functional team members and management.Help evaluate decision effectiveness through fraud strategy performance evaluation and detection metrics.Gather and analyze mortgage fraud data and assesses data qualitySupport ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.Monitor and track effectiveness of tools and applicationsCoordinate and track issue response and resolutionWorks to address mortgage fraud controlsDevelop recommendations for additional control requirements and process enhancements.Assist with developing and managing fraud prevention strategies through data analysis and business insight.Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.

Qualifications:
Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.Bachelors Degree in related field is required.Minimum of five (5) years of experience in mortgage or financial fraud related field.Experience in banking or credit union operations that includes knowledge of products, services, systems, operational policies and procedures, and regulatory compliance issues is strongly preferred.Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills with the ability to manage or support multiple projects effectively.Supervisory ResponsibilityThis position will not directly supervise employees.Licenses and CertificationsThere are no additional certifications required.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to an indoor office setting with moderate noise.*Most roles require working in an office setting with moderate noise and the ability to lift 25 pounds.*TravelAbility to travel to various worksites and be on-call may be required.Special Message Regarding COVID 19PenFed is continuing to hire and train exceptional individuals to help us serve our 2 million members both here and around the world.In light ofthe current situation with novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we have modified our hiring, onboarding, training, and deployment protocols in order to comply with current local and state guidance around social distancing.
