Our customer, a Multi-National Law Firm, is looking for an IP Attorney (Trademark & Copyright) to join their global team. This role will be working remotely full-time for 3 months.

Specifically, you will:
- Conduct and review preliminary trademark availability searches and assist in the preparation of full clearance opinions.
- Conduct trademark and copyright due diligence for joint ventures and acquisitions.
- Assist with the assignment of trademark and copyright applications and registrations relative to acquisitions.
- Work with internal and external teams in the global enforcement of Accenture’s trademarks.
- Assist with counseling Marketing and other internal clients in trademark law, trademark usage, and enforcement matters.
- Lead investigations into potential trademark and copyright infringements and determine strategy for resolutions.
- Instruct and oversee outside counsel in dispute proceedings.
- Provide subject matter expertise on copyright issues, including online copyright enforcement and risk mitigation strategies.
- Advise Marketing on proposed advertising campaigns to define and assess related risks.
- Assist in the management of Accenture’s domain name portfolio and domain transfers.
- Oversee outside counsel with respect to ICANN proceedings relating to domain name disputes as well as takedown procedures before various social media platforms.
- Manage multiple projects, expectations, and concerns working closely with Accenture executives and clients, in a focused and responsive manner; and
- Deliver timely, rapid, focused, and relevant responses to Marketing, colleagues in the Accenture legal department, and other internal clients.
Experience:
- Strong subject matter expertise in trademark and copyright law.
- Five years’ experience as an attorney in a law firm and/or in-house.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree and License to practice law in at least one state Required
