Job Summary: The psychologist can work from home and/or in the Department of Psychiatry. The psychologist will provide direct therapy using CBT and/or DBT to College Students attending one of the SUNY campuses as part of the SUNY Student Tele-counseling Network (STCN) via HIPAA compliant videoconferencing software. They will also provide live video supervision of 3rd and 4th year psychiatry residents training in CBT/DBT. It is hoped that the psychologist will additionally contribute to the teaching and supervision of trainees in child psychology. Psychologist will attend yearly hospital required performance evaluations and will maintain needed Continuing Education credits by attending Department of Psychiatry Grand Rounds and outside conferences. Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed (or license eligible) doctoral-level psychologist (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited training program with a focus on adolescents and young adult, completion of APA approved clinical internship in... Psychology. Expertise in one or more evidence-based psychotherapies (CBT/DBT) is required. Experience teaching and providing individual therapy supervision to trainees. Experience in working with college student populations is preferred.
