We are currently seeking a strong and driven... Director of Learning and Development to join our fast-paced, growing People team! Reporting to the VP of People, the Director, L&D will be responsible for increasing the impact of the L&D team, enhancing employee growth, building a culture of continuous development, and contributing to the continued success of Flyhomes.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with our Leadership team and the business to develop learning strategies, solutions and overall L&D vision.
Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Design and implement company wide and business specific Training content and initiatives that deepen skill development and drive practical application of technical and business knowledge.
Create and execute a comprehensive development curriculum at individual, management, and team levels and formalize our learning and development programs.
Ensure Training is compliant with Real Estate and Mortgage industry standards.
Collaborate with various internal teams to create and build custom role based onboarding programs as well as ongoing training programs and courses for virtual as well as online learning modules.
Be responsible for building a high performing L&D organization as Flyhomes continues to scale.
Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follow up to ensure training objectives are met.
Analyze trends and metrics within the business to develop programs and policies.
Develop pre and post learning assessments to measure new hire proficiency, in the form of evaluation forms, surveys, feedback questionnaires
What You’ll Bring
8+ years of progressive work experience as an L&D leader for a growing organization (start-up experience preferred)
Proven experience building, developing and implementing business specific training programs.
Experience in delivering in a blended learning environment including: eLearning, virtual training and distance learning methods, classroom/instructor-led training, and on-the-job training/mentoring.
Experience with LMS systems.
Ability to produce learning experiences that work across a sales, operations & tech org. Extra points if you’ve worked in prop tech!
Exceptional people and communication skills.
Ability to respectfully push back or make suggestions of improvement to leadership.
Patience, and a can-do, “I got this” mentality even in stressful encounters.
