The Opportunity

The Data Scientist is responsible for developing, deploying, documenting and maintaining statistical and machine learning models that help drive our business. You will work closely with our data engineers and business stakeholders you will leverage existing machine learning models to drive optimal decision-making across the entire organization.

You are able to connect the dots and interact across the organization (we operate as a distributed team and communication with people around the globe is a daily occurrence). You thrive in a fast-paced environment where your recommendations impact people on a daily basis.
What You Will Do
Select and optimize predictive models that will best predict various KPIs essential to our business.
Mine our existing datasets and make recommendations to augment our data with 3rd party data.
Work closely with Data Engineers to build ELT processes for the final model inputs.
Make recommendations to improve existing and build out new processes to monitor the effectiveness of production models.
Maintain internal documentation of all work released into production.
Deliver timely and effective technical assistance and troubleshooting when issues arise.
What You Will Have
Master’s degree or higher in data science or related field.
2-3 year of experience working for a small to medium sized technology company as a data scientist or similar role.
Experience working with and deriving insights / business recommendations from complex data environments.
Superior knowledge of statistical analysis methods, such as input selection, feature engineering, logistic and standard regression, random forests, etc.
Skilled in Python including pandas, numpy, and sklearn.
Familiarity with relational databases and SQLExcellent problem-framing, problem-solving and project management skills.
Excellent presentation and team collaboration skills.
Experience deploying machine learning models to a production environment
It Is Nice If You Have
Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or similar)
