Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Regulatory Associate to join our Regulatory Operations team in our New York office.

About the role:
As a Regulatory Associate, you will be a key member of the Regulatory Operations team responsible for project managing and supporting discrete tasks to ensure Oscar is compliant with federal and state health plan and provider data requirements. This position works closely with internal Oscar teams and interfaces with our external regulators.

This is a remote role, you will work remotely in one of the following states: Arizona, California... Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change.
Responsibilities:
Own the project management of provider data and annual QHP filings (form, binder, rate, network) with state regulators, state exchanges, and CMS, developing action plans that ensure regulatory approval
Work with minimal supervision on multiple, simultaneous and diverse assignments while adhering to deadlines and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Develop and maintain successful relationships with regulatory bodies, including state insurance regulators (e.g., DMHC in California, Arizona Department of Insurance, Texas Department of Insurance), and state-based exchanges (e.g., Covered California)
Partner with business owners to translate and operationalize data and regulatory filing requirements
Develop sustainable processes which simplify our growing team's outputs while ensuring high quality deliverables
Maintain a repository of legal guidance and resources
Requirements:
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 4+ years of SERFF, HIOS, and/or network data analysis experience
You have the ability to use tools to answer your own questions (e.g. Excel/SQL)
You're highly organized and detail-oriented; you always strive for perfection.
You have a demonstrated ability to take ownership with strong work ethic and follow-through skills.
You have demonstrable project management skills.
