JOB SUMMARY
This job will optimize wireframes for existing websites and support framework projects.
The incumbent will also assist in the creation of prototypes, concept sketches, interaction designs and user flows using key tools such as Adobe XD.
As an associate UX designer, this role will work closely with User Interface (UI) strategy to maintain and execute the digital design system.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports UI Strategy in applying the governance and maintenance of the digital design system.
Design wireframes that can readily apply UI patterns to spaces where strategy is already defined.
Support the layout compositions of desktop, tablet, and mobile interfaces, as well as support the exploration of adaptive changes.
Assist prototyping efforts to help assemble testable objects for service design and research.
Work with developers and designers to build user-friendly designs.
Participate in design process and... contribute to human-centered design activities.
Support User Acceptance Training (UAT) reviews to evaluate the efficacy of existing websites and identify improvement opportunities.
Participate in usability test building and synthesis.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Human Centered Design, Experience Design, Graphic/Communication Design, Psychology, Computer Sciences or related field
Substitutions
6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
Preferred
Master's Degree in Human Centered Design or User Experience Design
EXPERIENCE

1 year of relevant work history

SKILLS
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, layout principles, and aesthetic design concepts related to creative design of drawings, wireframes, prototypes, and user-centered artifacts
Proficiency of design software, including adobe photoshop, illustrator, indesign, XD, sketch, axure, creative cloud, confluence, jira, realtimeboard
A strong understanding of web and mobile UI standards, usability, and practical experience in design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications
Proven graphic design skills, including strength in typography and information/interaction design
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and note-taking skills, for all levels of corporation
Some experience of user research and usability testing would be a bonus
