Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented user interface/experience designer to join the design team at our Tysons, VA office. This role is not only focused on producing top notch visual work such as interfaces, but also delightful user interactions. Success in this role is dependent on being highly self-motivated and self-managed, well organized, always open to feedback and critique, and extremely collaborative.

This job can be done remotely in the United States or on-site (post-COVID).

The Candidate Will:

• Be instrumental in collaborating closely with the Creative Director, product designers, engineers, and product delivery managers to lead in shaping experience-driven custom mobile and desktop applications
• Cultivate a deep understanding of 10Pearls’ user interface styles, patterns, and standardized libraries and interactions that follow industry best practices
• Work with the Creative Director to improve creative and design processes including marketing campaigns... internal platforms, websites
• Produce high-end interfaces, visuals, and experiences

What 10Pearls is Looking For:

• This is an in-house full-time position
• 5+ years working in a similar position
• Solid understanding and implementation of User Experience and ability to step in any phase of UX Process
• Ability to lead discovery workshops with business stakeholders and product owners
• Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate design decisions
• Great visual designer, with a strong foundation in mobile and web products
• An outstanding portfolio, showcasing pixel perfect work and strong process
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment (with other designers, engineers, data scientists)
• Strong knowledge of design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, XD, Adobe Creative Cloud, Invision, Zeplin, etc.)
• Able to work in a highly collaborative, iterative user-centered design process
• Ability to be nimble and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• You are passionate about your craft!
