Advanced Systems Group, LLC (ASG) provides onsite managed services for a large tech video-sharing platform. We are seeking a Jr. Art Director to join our team to work with our client in Playa Vista, CA or remotely.

The Jr. Art Director will deliver best-in-class creative marketing campaigns for our Client's Brand, Trends, Learning, Kids, and Subs. Reporting directly to the Creative Directors, the AD will concept, design and support a wide range of creative work including: integrated campaigns, large-scale creative platforms, TV spots, video content, on-platform creative, digital campaigns and social campaigns. This person should also be strategically minded—able to shape briefs and help form impactful insights. The ideal candidate will see beyond the individual ask before them and bring innovative, proactive thinking where appropriate.

The Jr. Art Director will liaise directly with the internal editorial and design teams to provide creative feedback and mentorship. You will also... support in the oversight of external creative agencies and vendors in the production of creative assets (where applicable). Must have strong communication and presentation skills to liaise with senior leadership throughout the organization, and have the ability to clearly articulate and visualize a creative idea and how it applies to pertinent aspects of the business.

Position can be remote but may need to work on Pacific Standard Time.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partnering with a Copywriter, generate compelling, innovative creative. (e.g. large campaigns, TV spots, digital assets, etc.) for Brand, Trends, Learning, Kids, etc
  • Support Creative Directors to develop design concepts and creative directions for marketing campaigns. You will be required to make conceptual and stylistic decisions and create layouts and comps to illustrate your idea to other members of the team or management.
  • Create visual identities for both campaigns and individual 360° executions.
  • Supervise graphics and edit sessions.
  • Work with external agencies and vendors to produce campaign creative.
  • Effectively build and manage relationships with stakeholders (marketing, trends, Go To Market)
  • Work in close partnership with senior leadership to provide creative that is both strategically and creatively exceptional.
  • Liaise regularly with the GTM (Go To Market) team to ensure creative is strategically aligned across all platforms and is on time

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Exceptional portfolio of creative work
  • Strong design skills
  • Strong comprehension of marketing strategy and campaign development
  • Strong understanding of storytelling/narrative structure, pacing, graphics, music, shot selection and all key aspects of audio visual content.
  • Ability to work well within a collaborative creative environment .
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects through all phases of production with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in production and post-production.
  • Demonstrate excellent creative instincts/judgement.
